Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 5 April 2018 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Other accounting policies

Notes for accounts: details for 17-18I Eleanor Coulson work at Movement as an artist and curator on a self employed basis. The opening bank balance for Movement on 6th April 2017 was 13,775.55, (a remainder of an Arts Council Grants For the Arts payment from the previous tax year. ) Later in the year the Arts Council paid a second payment to Movement of 1490 income. Totalling 15265.55 turnover, from Grant Funding during 2017-18 The allowable business expenses were 13,454.56 plus expenses of 1860 that were were paid to me, Eleanor Coulson, as fees for my work organising artist led exhibitions. The business had a loss of 49.01 at the close of the tax year on 5th April 2018.
