  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

    The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entities effective April 2008

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents the amounts (excluding value added tax) derived from the provision of residential care to young people with emotional and behavioral issues during the year

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Depreciation is provided by the company to write off the cost less the estimated residual value of tangible fixed assets by equal installments over their estimated useful economic lives, as follows:- Land No Depreciation Buildings 50 years Furniture and fixtures 25% on cost
