| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Income |
| Income represents contributions receivable from the members and lessees towards the furtherance of the |
| principal activities of the company being the ownership of the freehold of 41-46 Waterman Way, London E1W |
| 2QW and of the common parts of the property for the benefit of the members of the company and the lessees of |
| the flats. |
| Tangible fixed assets |
| Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful |
| life. |
| Land and buildings - 1% per annum straight line |
| Taxation |
| The company operates on a non-profit making basis and is not a trading company. Certain items of income and |
| gains may be liable to corporation tax, however HM Revenue & Customs have agreed not to assess small |
| liabilities. |
