Directors' responsibilities:

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006. -
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. -
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime. - The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Profit and Loss Account.

Accounting Policies
1.1.
Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.
1.2.
Turnover
The company receives contributions from the Flat Owners, who are members of the company, and pays expenses associated with maintaining the common parts of the building in good condition.
1.3.
Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation
No depreciation has been provided on the Freehold Property as it is the company's policy to maintain the building in its present condition for the foreseeable future.

The members' loan is unsecured, interest free and repayable on expiry of the leases. The lease term is a period of 999 Years from 16th January 2004.

Related Party Transactions
S Cole is a director and shareholder of Susannah Cole Limited, company number 07229379. The company leases four flats within the property.
10.
Ultimate Controlling Party
The members of the company are the Flat Owners. In the event of the company being wound up, the liability in respect of the guarantee is limited to £1 per member.
11.
Corporation Tax
The company is a "not for profit" company with any surplus arising in a year being repayable to the Flat Owners and any deficit being recoverable from the Flat Owners in their agreed proportions. Accordingly no taxable profit will arise.
