1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
West Wakefield Health and Wellbeing Limited is a |

2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of services, excluding value added tax. Turnover is only |
recognised when cost is incurred due to the nature of a high proportion of income the company |
receives. If this income is not spent on specific projects the client reserves the right to have funds |
repaid to them. |
Taxation |
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income |
Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income |
or directly in equity. |
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been |
enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
Deferred tax |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed |
at the balance sheet date. |
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods |
different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured |
using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that |
are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is |
probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future |
taxable profits. |

6. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |

During the year the company also received services from IQUS Limited to the value of £8,344 |
(2016: £16,263), at the the year end date £14 (2016: £16) was owing to IQUS Limited. Dr C S |

During the year the company also received services from IQ Software Limited to the value of |
£131,135 (2016: £187,100), at the year end date £0 (2016: £0) was owing to IQ Software |

Dr C S Jones also provided his consultancy services to the company during the year inclusive of |
expenses he incurred. The value of these services and expenses was £885 (2016: £15,839 during |

The company West Wakefield Health and Wellbeing Limited is controlled by six general medical |
practices in the local area being Chapelthorpe Medical Centre, Church Street Surgery, Prospect |
Surgery, Middlestown Medical Centre, Orchard Croft Surgery and Lupset Health Centre. Each |
practice has representation on the board of directors. These practices provided admin services to |
West Wakefield Health and Wellbeing Limited during the course of the year. The value of these |
