| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
| with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods and services, excluding value added tax. Turnover |
| does not include amounts invoiced in advance of the services being provided. |
| Tangible fixed assets |
| Plant and machinery etc | - |
| IT equipment purchases with a cost of less than £250 are not capitalised and are included in sundry IT |
| equipment and software. |
| Stocks |
| Stocks and work in progress are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due |
