The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2017 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for:
(a)ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the
Companies Act 2006 and
(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at
the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the
requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the
Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Heywards Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The
company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information
page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" of Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.
Long leasehold - 2% on cost

Investment property
Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from
changes in fair value is recognised in profit or loss.

Retained earnings includes £298,963 of non-distributable reserves relating to the fair value revaluation
of the investment property, this includes the £189,090 formerly included in the revaluation reserve.

11. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

During the year the director, Mr D R Bannister, made net deposits to his account of £3,083. The
balance on his account at 30 June 2017 was £7,491 in credit (2016 - £4,408).

Also during the year Mr Bannister received dividends from the company of £1,920 (2016 - £nil).

Mr Bannister is also a director and majority shareholder of The Owl Way Company Limited. During the
year there were net loan transactions between Heywards Limited and that company of £1,000. The
balance at 30 June 2017 was £92,040 in credit (2016 - £91,040) and is shown in other creditors. All
transactions with that company were conducted at arms length.

12. ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY

Mr D R Bannister is the ultimate controlling party by virtue of his holding the majority of the company's
issued share capital.
