The directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.true

For the financial year ended 30 June 2017 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

Jack Good Music Publishing Company Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Iron Bridge House, Units 1-3, 3 Bridge Approach, Chalk Farm, London, NW1 8BD.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.

Turnover represents royalties received during the year and is exclusive of value added tax. Royalties from third parties are recognised when statements are received whilst royalties from related parties are recognised on an earnings basis.

Subsequent to the year end, the ownership of the company has changed.

Related parties are entities in which directors have a beneficial interest.

Carlin Music Corporation (London) provides management services to the company for which it charged £3,939 (2016 - £2,741). Management fees of £3,939 were payable to Jack Good (2016 - £2,741). A number of companies in which some of the previous directors had an interest entered into arrangements on a commercial basis to sub-publish copyright material on behalf of the company. Royalty amounts due from these sub-publishing arrangements are accounted for in accordance with the policy set out in Note 1 above.

Included in turnover are royalties received from various parties of £3,401 (2016 - £2,402).

Creditors include amounts owed to Carlin Music Corporation of £2,808 (2016 - £21,504).
