For the year ended 30 April 2017 the LLP was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 (as applied to LLPs).
The members acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 (as applied to LLPs) with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
The accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to LLPs subject to the small LLPs regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard) and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), Accounting by Limited Liability Partnerships.
Turnover
Profit is recognised on long-term contracts, if the final outcome can be assessed with reasonable certainty, by including in the profit and loss account turnover and related costs as contract activity progresses. Turnover is calculated as that proportion of total contract value which costs to date bear to total expected costs for that contract.
Members' capital
Members' capital is classified as debt and not equity if there is a contractual obligation for the LLP to repay the capital to members, even if that obligation is conditional.

5 Related party transactions
Mr S Westwell controls Chartwell Limited, a designated partner of the LLP. Mr Westwell engaged in transactions for and on behalf of the LLP and has historically provided finance for the LLP. The loan from Mr Westwell at the year end totalled £92,236 (2016: £90,886) and is disclosed in Other Creditors.

Mr S Westwell controls Churchill Property Group Ltd which has historically engaged in transactions on behalf of the LLP. As at the year end, there is an amount owed to the company of £680 (2016: £1,336) which is disclosed in Other Debtors.

Elysium Properties (UK) Limited, designated member of the LLP, drew cash from the LLP totalling £nil (2016: £nil) and was allocated losses totalling £4,855 (2016: profit £4,344). At the year end, the company owed the LLP £35,496 (2016: £30,641) disclosed in Trade Creditors.

Chartwell Limited, designated member of the LLP, drew cash from the LLP totalling £nil (2016: £6,000) and was allocated losses totalling £4,856 (2016: profit £4,344). At the year end, the LLP was owed £128,892 (2016: £124,036) by the company.
6 Controlling party
There is no ultimate controlling party as no one member has a controlling interest.
7 Other information
Elysium Homes LLP is a limited liability partnership incorporated in England. Its registered office is stated on page 1 of LLP information page.
