each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections
394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial
statements, so far as applicable to the company.

The financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions of Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

All the members have consented to the preparation of an abridged Statement of Income and Retained Earnings and an abridged Balance Sheet for the year ended 31st March 2017 in accordance with Section 444(2A) of the Companies Act 2006.

In accordance with Section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the Statement of Income and Retained Earnings has not been delivered.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Atlas Refurbishment (Northern) Ltd is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" of Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates,
value added tax and other sales taxes.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.
Improvements to leasehold premises - 10% on reducing balance
Plant and machinery - 15% on reducing balance
Motor vehicles - 25% on reducing balance

Stocks
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value , after making due allowances for obsolete and
slow moving items. Work in progress is valued at cost plus the appropriate proportion of relevant overheads.

Hire purchase and leasing commitments
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the
lease.

3. EMPLOYEES AND DIRECTORS

The average number of employees during the year was 7 (2016 - 8 ) .

5. DIRECTORS' ADVANCES, CREDITS AND GUARANTEES

R and E Guest own the premises from which the company operates. In the year ended 31st March 2017 the
company incurred a rent charge of £18,333 (2016 - £44,000).

6. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

R and E Guest are directors of The Atlas Holding Company Limited. During the year ended 31st March 2017
this company levied management charges of £132,650 (2016 - £151,667) to Atlas Refurbishment (Northern)
Limited. At 31st March 2017 Atlas Refurbishment (Northern) Limited owed £240,983 (2016 - £108,333) to The
Atlas Holding Company Limited. That company, in turn, owed Atlas Refurbishment (Northern) Limited
£239,663 (2016 - £16,168) in respect of a loan. During the year ended 31st March 2017 Atlas Refurbishment
(Northern) Limited paid dividends of £200,000 (2016 - Nil) to The Atlas Holding Company Limited.
