Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax. |

Deferred tax |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance |

Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension |
scheme are charged to the profit and loss account in the period to which they relate. |
Finance costs |
A proportion of interest on borrowed capital has been capitalised and included in the valuation of stocks. |
Maintenance costs |
Building contracts usually have a twenty four month maintenance contract which runs from completion of the |
project. Provision is made for these additional maintenance coss based on the current level of costs incurred post |
balance sheet. |

D Healy is a director and shareholder of Oxted Properties Limited, Technik Recruitment Limited, Site Logistics |
Limited and Avina Estates Limited. |
During the year services provided by Avicam Homes Ltd to Oxted Properties Limited totalled £40,476 (2015: |
£43,431) and at 30 November 2016 a balance of £43 (2015: £43) was due from Oxted Properties Limited. |
During the year Technik Recruitment Limited charged rent totalling £24,824 (2015: £24,757) to Avicam Homes |
Ltd. At the year end a balance of £276,542 (2015: £451,482) was owed to Technik Recruitment Ltd. |
During the year services provided by Site Logistics Limited to Avicam Homes Ltd were £210,770 (2015: |
£314,551) and services provided by Avicam Homes Ltd to Site Logistics Limited were £670 (2015: £6,428). At |
the year end a net balance of £3,670 (2015: £14,138) was owed to Site Logistics Limited. |
During the year services provided by Avicam Homes Ltd to Avina Estates Limited totalled £484,074 (2015: |
£1,080,688) and at 30 November 2016 a balance of £343,459 (2015: £262,015) was due from Avina Estates |
Limited. There is also a loan outstanding to Avina Estates Ltd of £64,566 (2015:£68,370). |
