| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
| Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the |
| balance sheet date. |

| of engagement. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Chairs |
| Direct Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Chairs Direct Limited, |
| as a body, in this report in accordance with the requirements of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as |
| detailed at http://www.accaglobal.com/factsheet163. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume |
