| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| The accounts are prepared on a going concern basis, The use of going concern basis of accounting is appropriate |
| because there are no material uncertainties related to events or conditions that may cast significant doubt about |
| the ability of the company to continue as a going concern. |
| Investments in subsidiaries |
| Investments in subsidiary undertakings are recognised at cost. |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with |
| the Financial Reporting Standard for smaller entities (effective January 2015). |
| Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
| The financial statements contain information about PFL UK Limited as an individual company and do not |
| contain consolidated financial information as the parents of a group.The company has taken the option under |
| section 398 of Companies Act 2006 not to prepare consolidated financial statements. |
| Exemption of preparing a cash flow statements |
| Exemption has been taken from preparing a cash flow statement on the grounds that the company qualifies as a |
| small company. |
