1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
Investments held as fixed assets are shown at cost less provision for impairment.

2Fixed assets Investments
At 30 September 2016, the company had a 50% interest in KF-UK II Limited Partnership.

The Limited Partnership has taken exemption under The Partnerships (Accounts) Regulations 2008 not to prepare individual accounts. The results of the Limited Partnership have been consolidated in the financial statements of Kuwait Fund for Arab Development, the largest group company. These are available from www.kuwait-fund.org.
