1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Accounting convention
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as
modified by the revaluation of certain assets and in accordance with the Financial Reporting
Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).

Turnover
Turnover represents net rents receivable.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.

Plant and machinery etc - 25% on reducing balance

Land and buildings are held for investment and not as operational assets. No depreciation is
provided but they are revalued from time to time to reflect changes in their open market
value. The last revaluation was as at 30 September 2011.

Hire purchase and leasing commitments
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight
line basis over the period of the lease.

4. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

The company obtained building services during the year amounting to £nil (2015: £90) from
Montrose Building Services Limited, a company in which R C Lambert has a controlling
interest. The company charged £1,800 (2015: £nil) to Montrose Building Services Limited
for administration duties during the year.

5. CONTROL

The company is controlled by the directors R J Lambert and Mrs M Latimer who hold all of
the issued share capital.
