In order to assist you to fulfil your directors' duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your review and approval the financial statements of Bizbox Ltd for the period ended 31 March 2017. These financial statements have been prepared from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.

As a member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we are subject to ethical and other professional requirements.

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Bizbox Ltd, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Bizbox Ltd and state those matters that we have agreed to state to them, as a body, in this report in accordance with AAF 2/10 as detailed at icaew.com/compilation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Bizbox Ltd and its Board of Directors as a body for our work or for this report.

The acceptance of the financial statements and the directors' report by the directors indicates acceptance of our accountants' report too. Use of these financial statements by external parties indicates acknowledgement of these conditions and limitations.

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with FRS 102.

For the year ending 31 March 2017 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102.

Turnover

Turnover represents amounts chargeable, net of value added tax, in respect of the sale of goods and services to customers.

Financial instruments

Financial instruments are classified and accounted for, according to the substance of the contractual arrangement, as financial assets, financial liabilities or equity instruments. An equity instrument is any contract that evidences a residual interest in the assets of the company after deducting all of its liabilities. Where shares are issued, any component that creates a financial liability of the company is presented as a liability in the balance sheet. The corresponding dividends relating to the liability component are charged as interest expense in the profit and loss account.

Pensions

The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions are recognised in the profit and loss account in the period in which they become payable in accordance with the rules of the scheme.
