The Company is Limited by Guarantee. Each member of the company undertakes to contribute a sum, not exceeding £1, to the company's assets if it should be wound up while they are a member or within one year after ceasing to be a member.

The company holds monies held on behalf of the lessees deemed to be held in trust in accordance with section 42 of The Landlord and Tenants Act 1987. The bank balance is reflected in the service charge accounts.

Separate service charge accounts are prepared detailing the income and expenditure for the property at Queen's Court, Erdington.

The company acquired the leasehold interest in the common parts of Queen's Court, Erdington which was acquired for £Nil consideration.

For the year ended 31 August 2016 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006.

Director's responsibilities: •    The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476; •    The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
