Mr M and Mrs A-M Worthington, directors of the company, have a loan account with the company against which personal expenditure and drawings may be charged. The loan account was overdrawn by £37,991 at the start of the year and the overdrawn balance was cleared on 29 March 2017. The overdrawn balance at 31 December 2016 was £147,547. During the year cash advances totalling £184,576 (2015 - £67,803) were made. During the same period cash repayments totalling £40,512 (2015 - £135,337) were received and dividends of £36,200 (2015 - £104,000) were reinvested. During the period the maximum overdrawn balance on the loan was £147,547 (2015 - 109,186). Interest of £1,691 (2015 - 1,367) was charged by the company for the period when the loan account was overdrawn.

For the year ended 31 December 2016 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Director's responsibilities:

• •    The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476;

• •    The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and in accordance with FRS 105: The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime.
