1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective 2015.

2Fixed assets Investments
On 1 August 2010, the company purchased the whole of the issued share capital of Anvil Steels (Sandwell) Limited and the investment represents the cost of this acquisition.
