| 1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by |
| the revaluation of certain assets and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller |
| Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents amounts invoiced to tenants for rents in the year, excluding value added tax. |
| Investment property |
| Investment properties are included at open market value, determined by independent professional |
| valuers on a periodic basis. Changes to open market value are transferred to the revaluation |
| reserve. |
| In accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities no depreciation is charged |
| on investment properties. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed |
| at the balance sheet date. |
