For the year ending 30 June 2016 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime .

1	Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The full financial statements, from which these abbreviated accounts have been extracted, have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (Effective January 2015).

Service charge accounts

In accordance with current best practice, separate service charge accounts have been prepared in addition to these limited company accounts. The service charge accounts are prepared on the accruals basis and include a balance sheet for the service charge fund as well as an income and expenditure account and explanatory notes.

The assets and liabilities relating to the service charge accounts have been transferred to those accounts. The bank account has remained in these limited company accounts as it is in the name of the limited company. However all transactions relating to the service charge have been transferred to those accounts. Therefore there is no income or expenses to recognise in these limited company accounts and as such the trading status of the limited company is now dormant.
