1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
Sportspoint International Marketing Ltd is a |
England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on |
the Company Information page. |
2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
The financial statements have been prepared on the assumption that the company is able to carry |
on business as a going concern, which the directors consider appropriate having regard to the |
company's current and expected performance. |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of service, excluding value added tax. |
Turnover is stated net of VAT and trade discounts. Turnover from the supply of services represents |
the value of services provided under contracts, to the extent that there is a right to consideration, |
and is recorded at the value of the consideration due. Where a contract has only been partially |
completed at the balance sheet date turnover represents the value of the service provided to date |
based on a proportion of the total contract value. |
Intangible assets |
Intangible assets are initially measured at cost. After initial recognition, intangible assets are |
measured at cost less any accumulated amortisation and any accumulated impairment losses. |
Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
Assets obtained under hire purchase contracts or finance leases are capitalised in the balance sheet. |
Those held under hire purchase contracts are depreciated over their estimated useful lives. Those |
held under finance leases are depreciated over their estimated useful lives or the lease term, |
whichever is the shorter. |
The interest element of these obligations is charged to profit or loss over the relevant period. The |
capital element of the future payments is treated as a liability. |
Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the |
company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |

11. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |

Dividends paid to directors in their capacity as shareholders during the year included £10,000 to Mr |
M Williams (2015 - £4,200) and £14,922 to Mrs B Williams (2015 - £4,200). |
Included in other creditors is an amount of £812 owed to the directors, M J Williams and Mrs B B |
Williams (2015 - £5). |
Transactions with other related parties |
During the year both M J Williams and Mrs B B Williams were directors and shareholders of the |
company. They were also directors and shareholders of I-Tex UK Limited up to 29 June 2016. |
At the year end Sportspoint International Marketing Limited were owed £Nil by I-Tex UK Limited |
(2015 - debtor £3,897). |
12. | ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY |
During the period ended 31 December 2016, M J Williams and Mrs B B Williams, the directors, |
controlled the company by virtue of a directly and indirectly held controlling interest of 100% of the |
issued ordinary share capital. |
