NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
1a. Basis Of Accounting
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).
1b. Cash Flow Statement
The Company is exempt from including a statement of cash flows in its accounts in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).
1c. Going Concern
The company was insolvent at the Balance Sheet date, but continues to be financially supported by its wholly-owned parent company, Charitas Communications Limited, for the foreseeable future.
1d. Intangible Assets
Development expenditure is normally written off in the year of expenditure, however expenditure incurred on specific projects is capitalised when recoverability can be foreseen with reasonable certainty and is amortised in relation to sales from such projects.
1e. Turnover
Turnover represents the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of value added tax and trade discounts.

The company has been controlled since incorporation by its parent company Charitas Communications Limited, by virtue of its ownership of all the ordinary issued share capital. Charitas Communications Limited is owed £167,343 (2013 - £181,204) by Good Connection Limited as shown in Creditors.

The ultimate parent undertaking is Charitas Communications Limited, a company registered in England & Wales.
The ultimate controlling party is its director, Mr J Edwardes, by virtue of his ownership of 87% of the parent company, Charitas Communications Limited.
