The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2016 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for:
(a)ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies
Act 2006 and
(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end
of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of
Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to
financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

BBD Developments Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The
company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" of Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

These accounts have been prepared on a going concern basis. The company continues to be supported by its
Directors and investors and is able to meet its day to day commitments.

Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates,
value added tax and other sales taxes.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.
Plant and machinery etc - 33% on cost

Stocks
Work in progress is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value.

Cost includes all direct expenditure and an appropriate proportion of fixed and variable overheads.

Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the
balance sheet date.

The balance outstanding to Haydock Finance amounts to £88,000 (2015 : £98,000) which is an interest free
loan repayable over 5 years.
The liability is secured by the directors personal guarantee.
A mortgage has been recorded over flat 6 in favour of Birmingham Midshires Building Society. The mortgage
outstanding amount to £73,959 against a valuation of £110,000. The mortgage is interest only.
The mortgage over Flat 1 was repaid during the year.
On 1 March 2010 a legal charge was granted in favour of Mobile Health Systems Limited as security for a loan
made by them. The legal charge was granted over the Freehold Property at 28/29 New Road, Hellingly for
£150,000. At 31 March 2016 the amount outstanding to Mobile Health Systems Limited amounted to £152,000
(2015 : £152,000).
An interest only loan was taken out with Shawbrook Finance in 2012 amounting to £178,937. The loan is for 5
years and is secured over flats 2 and 4. The interest rate will be LIBOR plus a margin of 4.95%.
