The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).
The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis which is dependent upon the continued support of the company's directors and creditors. The directors have indicated their willingness to support the company in the foreseeable future by ensuring sufficient funds are available for the company to continue trading. Therefore the directors consider the going concern basis is appropriate.
Changes in accounting policies
In preparing the financial statements for the current year, the company has adopted the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).
The adoption of the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015) has had no effect on the results for the current period.
Turnover
The turnover shown in the profit and loss account represents amounts invoiced during the year, exclusive of Value Added Tax.
In respect of long-term contracts and contracts for on-going services, turnover represents the value of work done in the year, including estimates of amounts not invoiced. Turnover in respect of long-term contracts and contracts for on-going services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion.
Financial Instruments
Financial instruments are classified and accounted for, according to the substance of the contractual arrangement, as either financial assets, financial liabilities or equity instruments.
