| The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the year ended 30 June 2016. |
| PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY |
| The principal activity of the company in the year under review is to serve as a non-profit international |
| association representing the submarine cable industry. The company developed from a non profit |
| organisation which had existed for many years and whose financial assets were transferred into the company |
| on 1 July 2005. |
| The company is limited by guarantee and is prohibited from distributing its reserves to its members. Its |
| income and capital must be applied solely towards the promotion of its objects. |
