The abbreviated accounts have been prepared in accordance with the special provisions of Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

1. Accounting policies

Accounting convention
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).

Turnover
Turnover comprises revenue recognised by the company in respect of licence fee income, exclusive of Value
Added Tax and trade discounts.

Intangible fixed assets and amortisation
Patents represent the cost paid to a third party to obtain Intellectual Property.

Amortisation is provided at the following rates:

Patents - 50% on cost

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.

Included in turnover is £26,546 (2014: £32,912) of royalties receivable from Solion Limited, a company in which
L Salam has a majority shareholding.

Included within other creditors is £52,881 (2015: £52,881) advanced by L Salam. Included in creditors is
£78,303 (2015: £60,090) owed by Solion Limited, a company in which L Salam has a majority shareholding.

6. Controlling party

The company is controlled by L Salam by virtue of his majority shareholding in the company.
