| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
| with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |
| Patents and licences |
| Licences, £40,000 being the amount paid in connection with the acquisition of franchise rights in 2007, |
| and £1,650 being the amount paid in connection with the acquisition of franchise rights in 2012, is |
| being amortised on a straight line basis over its estimated useful life of 10 years. |
