Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

The investment relates to the company's 100% holding in Healthcare Learning Limited (formerly Smile-on Limited) and is stated at cost. The net assets of Healthcare Learning Limited are not consolidated in the abbreviated accounts.
