1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).
The financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice), which have been applied consistently (except as otherwise stated).

Other accounting policies
Financial instruments
Financial instruments are classified and accounted for, according to the substance of the contractual arrangement, as either financial assets, financial liabilities or equity instruments. An equity instrument is any contract that evidences a residual interest in the assets of the company after deducting all of its liabilities.

Ultimate parent company
The immediate parent undertaking is R F & P Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. The ultimate parent undertaking is Robert Fraser Group Limited. The ultimate parent undertaking is Egerton Holdings Limited, a company registered in The Bahamas.
The financial statements of R F & P Limited and the ultimate UK parent undertaking will be available from 1 Vicarage Lane, Stratford, London E15 4HF and Companies House.
