The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for: |

1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced fees for design consultancy, excluding value added tax. |
Tangible fixed assets |
Plant and machinery etc | - |
Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
Assets obtained under hire purchase contracts or finance leases are capitalised in the balance sheet. Those held |
under hire purchase contracts are depreciated over their estimated useful lives. Those held under finance leases |
are depreciated over their estimated useful lives or the lease term, whichever is the shorter. |
The interest element of these obligations is charged to the profit and loss account over the relevant period. The |
capital element of the future payments is treated as a liability. |
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the |
period of the lease. |
Going concern |
The company has cash resources and also makes use of external bank funding. The directors have a reasonable |
expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable |
future. They continue to believe the going concern basis of accounting appropriate in preparing the annual |
financial statements. |

The following reproduces the text of the report prepared for the directors in respect of the company's annual |
unaudited financial statements, from which the unaudited abbreviated accounts (set out on pages two to five) |
have been prepared. |
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the |
financial statements of Stand Ltd for the year ended 31 December 2015 which comprise the Profit and Loss Account, |
the Balance Sheet, and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations |
you have given us. |

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Stand Ltd, as a body, in accordance with our terms of engagement.
