1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |
The company was dormant throughout the current year and previous year. |
Dormant company acting as an agent |
The company is claiming dormancy status under Section 480 of the Companies Act 2006. During the financial |
year it has acted as an agent for Markham Mount residential block management, a copy of the service charge |
statement of account can be obtained from Dickinson Harrison (RBM) Ltd, Unit 5a, Lowfields Business Park, Old |
Power Way, Elland, HX5 9DE. |
Service charges |
The company is responsible for the management of Markham Mount and employs a managing agent to collect |
service charges from lessees in order to fund expenditure incurred in the management of the property. These |
service charge funds are held in trust for the lessees as required by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. |
Transactions relating to the management of the property are reported separately to the lessees and are |
excluded from the company's financial statements. |
