Members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Act.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions in Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

1	Accounting policies

	Basis of preparation
	The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).

	Service charges
	The company is responsible for the management of the common areas of The Bowmans and collects service charges from residents to fund expenditure in accordance with the leases. These service charges are held in Trust for the residents as required by the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987. Transactions relating to the management of the common areas are reported seperately from the Company accounts in Service Charge accounts prepared for the residents and are excluded from the Company's accounts.
