1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation of the financial statements
The accounts have been prepared on the current best practice methods and the latest technical guidance for residential services charge accounts as set out in the ICAEW technical release [03/11].
Accounting convention
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015).
Service charge accounts and limited company accounts
Planters Keys Apartments Management Company Limited has adopted best practice principles and guidance relating to the preparation of service charge company accounts together with the disclosure of monies collected on behalf of flat owners for the purpose of meeting the maintenance costs of the block of flats.
