| 1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
| with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
| The company and its subsidiaries comprise a small group. The company has therefore taken |
| advantage of Section 398 of the Companies Act 2006 not to prepare group accounts. |
| Fixed asset investments |
| Investments in subsidiary undertakings are held at cost less provision for any permanent diminution in |
| value. |
