Accounting policies
1.1
Accounting convention
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).
1.2
Turnover
Turnover represents amounts receivable for goods and services net of VAT and trade discounts.
1.3
Tangible fixed assets and depreciation
Tangible fixed assets other than freehold land are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost less estimated residual value of each asset over its expected useful life, as follows:

Included in other creditors is a loan from S K Projects (Yorkshire) Limited of £ 49,475 (201 4 - £ 96,525 ). S K Projects (Yorkshire) Limited is a company in which S R Knowlson is a director. The loan is unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand. During the year there were sales of £6,312 (2014 - £197,366) to Northfields Farm Limited. Northfields Farm Limited is a company in which S R Knowlson is a director and shareholder . Northfields Farms Limited was also loaned £50,000 (2014 - £242,422) during the year. At the balance sheet date i ncluded in other debtors is a loan to Northfields Farm Limited of £ 247,681 (2014 - £396,931). The loan is unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand. During the year there were sales of £4,856 (2014 - £20,647) to Agrispray Contractors Limited. Agrispray Contractors Limited is a company in which J R Knowlson is a director and shareholder. Included in other debtors is a loan to Agrispray Contractors Limited of £22,743 (2014 - Other creditors loan from of £29,424). The loan is unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand . J R Knowlson is a shareholder of S K Contracting (Yorkshire) Limited. During the year there were sales of £27,090 to Beechcroft Broilers Limited. Beechcroft Broilers Limited is a company in which J R Knowlson is a director and sole shareholder of its parent company Beechcroft Poultry Limited. Included in other debtors is a loan to Beechcroft Broilers Limited of £31,868. The loan is unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand.
