For the year ending 31 October 2015 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006. The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

1Accounting Policies
Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
Other accounting policies
Income from investments are included in the year in which it is receivable.
Expenditure is recognised on an accrual basis as a liability in incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT which cannot be fully recovered and is reported as paert of the expenditure to which it relates.
Governance costs are those incurred in connection with administration of the charity and compliance with constitutional and statutory requirements.
Investment properties are revalued periodically. Surpluses or deficits are transferred to the Statement of Financial Activities. In accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008) no provision is made for depreciation in respect of freehold properties or leasehold properties with more than 20 years remaining as investments. This departure from the requirements of the Companies Act 2006, which requires all properties to be depreciated is, in the opinion of the directors, necessary for the accounts to show a true and fair view.
