1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the historical cost convention.

Turnover policy

Turnover represents the net invoiced sales of goods, excluding Value Added Tax

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Depreciation is provided on all tangible fixed assets at rates calculated to write off the costs, less estimated residual value, of each asset over their expected useful life as follows :- Motor Vehicles 25% reducing balance basis Plant & Equipment 25% reducing balance basis Computer Equipment 25% reducing balance basis

Other accounting policies

Stock and Work in Progress Stock and work in progress are stated at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowances for obsolete and slow moving items Deffered Taxation Provision is made at current rates for taxation deffered in respect of all material timing differences except to the extent that, in the opinion of the directors, there is reasonable probability that the liability will not arise in the foreseable future.
