1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards. The company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No 1 from the requirement to produce a cash flow statement on the grounds that it is a small company.

Turnover policy

Turnover represents the gross amounts receivable in respect of services rendered, stated net of value added tax.

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation less estimated residual value of each asset over its expected useful life, as follows: Motor vehicles 25% per annum Leasehold improvements 20% per annum Plant and machinery 20% per annum Fixtures and fittings 20% per annum
