1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Valuation information and policy
Investment assets

Investment assets are stated at the lower of cost and net realisable value.

2Fixed assets Investments
Cost:
Equity Direct (Pty) Limited £30,000 (2014: £30,000)
The company owns 35% of the issued share capital of Equity Direct (Pty) Limited, a company incorporated in South Africa. The investment is stated at the lower of cost and director's valuation.
Aggregate amount of capital and reserves at 28 February: £299,974 (2014: £311,256).
Result for the year: £(1,802) (2014: £1,071).
