G & D HIGGINS MECHANICAL SERVICES LTD REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS FOR THE PERIOD 1ST SEPTEMBER 2014 TO 31ST OCTOBER 2015 The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period 1st September 2014 to 31st October 2015. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY The principal activity of the company in the period under review was that of mechanical engineers. DIRECTORS The directors shown below have held office during the whole of the period from 1st September 2014 to the date of this report. D Higgins Mrs L R Higgins OPERATIONAL AND FINANCIAL REVIEW G&D Higgins Mechanical Services Limited draws on over 36 years of M+E experience to deliver the highest levels of quality, safety and technical expertise to our clients. We are delighted to report that 2015 was an exciting year for G&D Higgins Mechanical Services Limited, showing an increase in profitability and a strengthening in our client base by the award of three 5 year Framework Agreements for Hertfordshire County Council and two Framework Agreements for the London Borough of Camden. We also undertook multiple successful projects for new Public Sector Clients. 2015 also saw G&D Higgins Mechanical Services Limited becoming an Accredited Partner to British Gas PLC having passed their stringent quality and technical ability requirements. The financial strength of the company substantially improved by the repayment of all outstanding Bank Loans and Mortgages. There was also a substantial increase in the value of the property portfolio owned by G&D Higgins Mechanical Services Limited, which supports our financial standing. During 2014/15 there was also a substantial increase in the value of the G&D Higgins Self-Administered Pension Fund, which is now in excess of 2 Million Pounds and is available to fund major projects. We are well positioned to continue to deliver performance, financial sustainability, added value and growth. This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions of Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
