1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
At the year end, the balance sheet shows that the company has negative reserves. The director is funding the |
company and confirms that she will continue to do so until the company becomes profitable. The director |
believes that the company will soon be profitable and thus the accounts have been prepared on a going concern |
basis. Should the director withdraw her loan the company may have insufficient reserves to continue and thus the |
company may cease to be a going concern. |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Exemption from preparing a cash flow statement |
Exemption has been taken from preparing a cash flow statement on the grounds that the company qualifies as a |
small company. |
