1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents the sale of property, excluding value added tax. |
Investment property |
Investment property is revalued annually and the aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in the market |
value is transferred to the revaluation reserve. No provision is made for depreciation on investment property. |
This is a departure from the provisions of the Companies Act 2006. However, this policy is in accordance with |
the Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entities and is preferred by the directors in order for the accounts |
to give a true and fair view. |
