Company activities and impact
The company provides the public with articles, research, and stories about peacebuilding work in Northern Ireland, published on its website. It also provides training courses, events, and educational resources. The company was incorporated on 24 January 2020. During the financial year 2023–2024, the company’s activities have benefited the community in the following ways:15,459 (+5,069 from the previous year) people were able to learn more about peacebuilding efforts in Northern Ireland, through 80 (-5) articles published on its website;The company created opportunities for 21 volunteers, including 3 internship placements;It continued to build its social media and online presence through the sharing of articles, podcasts, and news about Shared Future News with its audiences;It contributed to the 2023 Imagine Belfast Festival, hosting an event that brought together members of the public from different sections of society to discuss the launch of a book by Professor Padraig O’Malley, The Perils and Prospects of a United Ireland.
