In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the abbreviated accounts of Lonberry Limited for the year ended 5 April 2015 which comprise of the balance sheet and the related notes from the company’s accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Lonberry Limited, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the accounts of Lonberry Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Lonberry Limited, as a body, in this report in accordance with AAF 2/10 as detailed at icaew.com/compilation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Lonberry Limited and its Board of Directors as a body for our work or for this report. |
It is your duty to ensure that Lonberry Limited has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory accounts that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit of Lonberry Limited. You consider that Lonberry Limited is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year. |
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit or a review of the accounts of Lonberry Limited. For this reason, we have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the abbreviated accounts. |

Accounting policies |

Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |

Turnover |
|
Turnover represents the value, net of value added tax and discounts, of goods provided to customers and work carried out in respect of services provided to customers. |
|
|
Depreciation |
|
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives. |
|

Plant and machinery |
20% reducing balance |
|
Fixtures and fittings |
15% reducing balance |
|
|
Stocks |
|
Stock is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value. |
|
|
Deferred taxation |
|
Full provision is made for deferred taxation resulting from timing differences between the recognition of gains and losses in the accounts and their recognition for tax purposes. Deferred taxation is calculated on an un-discounted basis at the tax rates which are expected to apply in the periods when the timing differences will reverse. |
