| Report to the directors on the preparation of the unaudited statutory accounts of the company for theperiod ended 30 April 2015. In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the accounts of the company for the period ended 30 April 2015 as set out on pages 3 to 11 which comprise of the Balance Sheet and the related notes from the companys accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. | These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective 2008). |

| For the year ending 30 April 2015 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. |

| 1. Accounting policies |

| Basis of preparation |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (Effective April 2008). |
| Tangible fixed assets Depreciation |

| Depreciation is provided, after taking account of any grants receivable, at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life. |

| Stocks |
|

|
| Stocks and work-in-progress are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. Cost includes all direct expenditure and an appropriate proportion of fixed and variable overheads. |
| Investments |
|

|
|
|
|
| Investments held as fixed assets are stated in the balance sheet at cost less any provision made for |
|
| impairment in value. Current asset investments are stated at the lower of cost or net realisable value. |
|
| Deferred taxation |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
|
|
|
|
|
| Assets obtained under hire purchase contracts or finance leases are capitalised in the balance sheet. Those held under hire purchase contracts are depreciated over their estimated useful lives. Those held under finance leases are depreciated over their estimated useful lives or the lease term, whichever is the shorter. The interest element of these obligations is charged to the profit and loss account over the relevant period. The capital element of the future payments is treated as a liability. Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the period of the lease. |
