The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 December 2023

Principal Activities

The company's principal activities during the period were the operation of a conference centre for meetings and events, along with the associated sale and supply of catering and other goods and services.

Political and charitable donations

The company made charitable donations during the period of £55,173 (2022: £27,188), all of which were made to the Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Matthew's Westminster (registered charity number 1132355). The company made no political donations during the period.

Company policy on the employment of disabled persons

The company is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, gender, disability, race, religion, or any other protected characteristic.

4. Changes in presentation and prior period adjustments

The prior year's accounts have been restated due to late recognition of transactions which should have been included in the profit and loss account. The effect of these restatements was to increase turnover by £1,636 and to increase administrative expenses by £1,636. This means there was no net impact on the company's reported profit for the year ended 31 December 2022 nor on the reported net assets as at that date.

Description of relationship:
Two of the company's Directors, Rev Philip Chester and Mr Daniel Bird, also sat during the year on the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of St Matthew's Westminster (registered charity number 1132355).
Description of the transaction:
