| 1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Having regard to liquidity risk, current market conditions and other factors affecting the company, the use of the |
| going concern basis of accounting is appropriate as, in the opinion of the directors, there are no material |
| uncertainties related to events or conditions that may cast significant doubt about the ability of the company to |
| continue as a going concern. |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
| Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Preparation of consolidated financial statements |
| The financial statements contain information about Alphase UK Limited as an individual company and do not |
| contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company has taken the option under |
| Section 398 of the Companies Act 2006 not to prepare consolidated financial statements. |
| Exemption from preparing a cash flow statement |
| Exemption has been taken from preparing a cash flow statement on the grounds that the company qualifies as a |
| small company. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance |
| sheet date. Deferred tax assets are recognised to the extent that, on the basis of all available evidence, it can be |
| regarded as more likely than not that there will be future taxable profits available against which deductible timing |
| differences can be utilised. |

| Investments held as fixed assets are stated at cost less any provision for a permanent diminution in value. |
