The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31 December 2013.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2013 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:

(a)	ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and

(b)

preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

The abbreviated accounts have been prepared in accordance with the special provisions of Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

1.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Accounting convention

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the

revaluation of certain assets and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller

Entities (effective April 2008).

Exemption from preparing a cash flow statement

Exemption has been taken from preparing a cash flow statement on the grounds that the company

qualifies as a small company.

Turnover

Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax.

Investment property

Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from

changes in market value is transferred to a revaluation reserve.

Deferred tax

Deferred taxation is provided on the liability method to take account of timing differences between the

treatment of certain items for accounts purposes and their treatment for tax purposes. Tax deferred or

accelerated is accounted for in respect of all material timing differences.

5.	ULTIMATE PARENT COMPANY

Sywell Investments Limited is regarded by the directors as being the company's ultimate parent

company.

6.	DIRECTORS' ADVANCES, CREDITS AND GUARANTEES

As at the end of the year the company owes J L Barney £4,000 (2012: £2,000), D Bateman £4,000

(2012: £2,000) and J M Paske £4,000 (2012: £2,000). No interest was charged and there are no

terms set to repay.
