Little Big Things CIC develops arts and culture projects, promoting creativity, heritage, health and wellbeing for the local community. Providing a bridge between learning and a professional career for many aspiring young people, especially those in a low socio-economic status. Little Big Things CIC has been successful in its first year of trading delivering on its aims to support and deliver community art and culture projects that support young people.-Securing several contracts with the University of Bedfordshire amounting to £14533.09 income.-Standon Calling Festival Workshops: delivering a variety of cultural workshops at the family friendly festival in July 2022 over four days. The festival boasts more than 17,000 festival goers. The workshops saw approximately 1350 participants, comprising families and young people over the four day delivery of 18 workshops, in Hertfordshire.-Bright Star Awards, Luton: providing event management, production support and delivery for young people in care and their families at this award ceremony for cultural achievements. In person attendance was an audience of 200 made up of families, young people, guest speakers and staff from the local council.-SMASH Summer School Creative Workshop Delivery, Luton: Producing and delivering a creative programme of workshops for young people attending summer school in the summer of 2022. Reaching 1080 beneficiaries aged between 8 years -12 years old with 36 workshops over a two week delivery period.-Creative Language Annual Lecture, Luton: Production support for this creative educational lecture delivered both in person and online (blended delivery) to an audience of 500+ young people and adults.-Securing and delivering a 12 month heritage project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund of £44,000 creating a new framework of teaching delivering heritage to a younger audience within a school setting. Delivered to 25 students with 3 schools within Bedfordshire and 10 teaching staff being upskilled in their digital literacy and delivery skills within a classroom setting.-Social media engagement of 250,000 of the AR filters created of Luton's heritage assets. Global reach of audience including South American, India and Pakistan. -National relationships built with further educational settings and community groups in supporting developing their creative arts services.Delivered presentations to the Feltmakers society and leading professionals within the textile industry on future proofing and securing safe archiving of the industries heritage through new technological techniques. -The creation of digital heritage assets that are available for school settings, Industry and public to access for free future proofing the knowledge sharing and skills of a recognised at risk heritage skill and industry of Luton.
